		<description>Whether you use a programmable vs fully automatic thermostat just remember this, try to keep the lower setting close to the higher setting, other wise the system will end up working harder and using more energy. This is because when you are cooling a room you are not just cooling the air. You are also cooling every surface in that area as well. The surfaces can affect the room temperature. 		<description>Well said.  It&#039;s incredible how much a quality installation can improve the system performance and efficiency.  I see far too much flexible duct being used (improperly) in installations, oversized systems, undersized systems, no load calculations, poorly-sized supply and return vents, etc, etc, etc.

I hope more mechanical contractors are really taking duct design and whole building envelope into consideration these days!</description>
